Social Media, By Me.

Three minutes is not a lot of time to pitch two projects, but I made it work.

Although these projects sound simple by nature, they are truly advanced digital media projects. What you see on these channels are the final products of hours of strategic thinking, designing, creating and scheduling. The skillset that is involved with running these channels include:

  • Photoshop
  • Adobe After Effects Motion Graphics
  • Premiere Pro Editing
  • Graphic Design
  • Social Media Strategy
  • Social Media Management
  • Social Media Analytics
  • Digital Media Content Creation (and the plethora of skills this involves)
  • Copy Writing
  • Image Sourcing
  • Knowledge of platforms such as Hootsuite and Google Analytics

These projects are also quintessentially FIST. For Jasliftingfit, all content is filmed by me using my trusty water bottle as a tripod during workouts that I would be doing anyway. I use mobile apps such as Adobe Spark, Adobe Rush, and Quik to quickly package videos that look professional. And, I use Adobe Lightroom with presets that I purchased to quickly edit photos.

For New Economy, all posts are re-posts of existing articles or website content, so I simply produce the content and tweak the copy, using those same apps to work quickly. I also use Hootsuite so I can schedule all channels on one platform and quickly tweak as I need.

FEFO has played a major role in these projects, which are a constant process of:

ideate, design, create, publish, analyse, tweak, repeat

Which I hope I have showcased through my pitch video, above.
