Echo encapsulates the changing nature of plutonic and filial relationships; and the way in which one may leave someone’s life only to be replaced with another. This is represented through the rocky relationship between a pair of lungs, which undergo trauma resulting in the need for a lung transplant; and the complications which follow. Echo is a thrilling saga of colour symbolism and mirrored motifs which urges that new relationships don’t always entail smooth sailing.
Echo was shown at Callback 2016, a showcase of the best works of the Dance HSC for 2016.
